Trent Series Engines

Now manufactured at the new Seletar Plant, Rolls Royce are building the Trent series engines for the Airbus A380, Boeing Dreamliner and the new Airbus A350.

Respectively, these engines, Trent 900 for the A380, Trent 1000 for the Dreamliner and the Trent XWB for the A350 are assembled and tested at the Integrated manufacturing/Assembly and test facility Rolls Royce have built in Singapore.

Seletar also boasts some of the most integrated manufacturing and logistics set up in the Rolls Royce Aero-engines world, being the first facility to bring together all of the core processes and engineering that are normally spread out among geographically dispersed facilities in the UK and Europe. Seletar also includes an Advanced Technology Centre and Engineering Training facilities to support the Asian market which makes up at least 40% of it’s order book for Trent series engines.
